As part of the project

• Web Synergies will revamp the existing NPO directory with additional advanced functions
• Create Volunteer Corner where volunteers can register, login, donate and manage their account information with NVPC
• Create a tool to prepare and broadcast HTML and text based e-newsletters to NPO and Non-NPO database contacts a periodic basis
• Develop and maintain their Online Resource Library
• Migration of the existing database and contents to the new systems
• Provide copyrighting and proof reading services
• Support and maintenance of the developed systems

About NVPC

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is the national body, established in July 1999, to promote volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore, working in partnership with the public, and private sectors.

NVPC function as a non-profit non-government organisation, with funding support from the Ministry of Community Development, Youth, and Sports (MCYS) for overheads. NVPC's Board is chaired by REAR-Admiral (Ret) Kwek Siew Jin, and comprises representatives from the private, public and people sectors.

NVPC's mission is to promote and develop volunteerism and philanthropy across all sectors and at all levels of society, furthering the Singapore 21 vision of an active citizenry. Giving across different sectors including arts, community, education, health, social service, sports and youth.

In so doing, the Centre seeks to root Singaporeans and foster community bonding, thereby strengthening the heartware of the nation.
