Enterprise Synergies' WS-EduPortal is
a set of innovative building block services and technologies
designed to provide user definable modules linking customer
needs with backend Learning Management Systems (LMS)
through workflow and web enabled applications. Stemming from
its successful deployments in similar ecommerce environments,
Enterprise Synergies' methods and techniques offer companies

The design approach focuses heavily on the customer's market
goals translating to critical outputs. The business processing
rules and the workflow are then designed to suit the operational
mode of the organization. From its extensive set of program
libraries derived from many years of ecommerce implementation,
Enterprise Synergies is able to deploy the solution within
the quickest possible turnaround time.
In February 2003, SC LEARNING, a division
of Standard Chartered Bank, was looking for a vendor to
supply and install a Web-based Education Portal Services System
and the related services to fulfill its business objectives.
SC LEARNING recognized that the affiliate banks and
potential banking employees in Hong Kong were poised to exploit
online ecommerce to screen, select and interface with Specialized
Banking Education service providers. Consequently, SC LEARNING
wished to enter this market to rapidly capture awareness through
a highly visible and interactive website and building an ecommerce
portal that would seamlessly provide online students with
the information and communication capabilities with Learning
Administrators and Instructors. The goal was to offer a differentiated
service that is convenient, consumer friendly and highly trusted.
Entreprise Synergies' WS-EduPortal and
consulting services were then selected. The new service from SCL, was successfully launched in June
in Hong Kong and is now being extended to the Asia-Pacific
region.
This mission was a significant breakthrough
for Enterprise Synergies as it perfectly illustrates the company's
ability to marry business consulting with innovative technology
development.
